5 Years And Running..... by.Mike "We were friends, there for each other till the very end." The story starts off simple, we were all great friends. Before Jake joined it was the original four Tim,Matt,Nick,and Me assembling back in 2002 after a what we call a break threw performance at our 7th grade schools end of the year talent show. After the show was done we all decided to actually learn our primary instruments. It wasn,t long that we started practicing at my house in the back yard, working on are glory road to fame i called it. Nick being the creative guitarist that he is, rounded up some riffs along with Tim bass playing experience we knew we had it made. As Matt came along with the lyrics I began to work on drum licks little by little, but as time went on we all changed and parted to go our seperate ways, each making our own bands and expanding our mucical minds. As each of us went on we still kept in touch the best we could, high school years were hard on us. As the years past we all got older, and even making it to the real world. Our first year of college came as i constantly kept on running in to Tim, i began recaping most of our moments together even bringing up Matt and Nick who still no matter what never forgot us. As me and Tim kept in touch in the year he sufferd a tragic loss, we all came together to support."There for each other till the very end." As we all sat around we began talking about old times, and a guitar was brought out to recall old songs. The thought of the band was in effect, as we began practicing at my house once agian. And it was long till we picked up there good buddy Jake from an old band they called EMS. Jakes amazing guitar playing,Nicks creative Riffs,Matts story telling Lyrics,Tims brilliant ideas on bass/lyrics/style,and my new effect on drumming all I can say is "Were the boys from Texas,Never Regret, Never forget That".
